About QAMP

QAMP is a camping trip planner and campsite photo library for Ontario's provincial parks. We started it because we kept booking campsites from a tiny dot on a park map and arriving to find a sloped tent pad, no shade or a site right beside the washroom.

What we are building

We want every camper to be able to see a campsite before they book it, and to plan the whole trip with their group in one place. Today that means an interactive campsite map, 2,279 photos across 10 parks, and shared trip plans with a packing checklist and group chat.

Where our campsite photos come from

Site visits

Our team visits parks and photographs campsites one by one, so each photo is tied to an exact site number and shows the things campers actually ask about: the tent pad, the tree cover, the view and how close the neighbours are.

Campers like you

After a trip, campers can add their own photos and reviews to a site. Every upload is automatically screened before it appears, and photos stay attached to the campsite they were taken at.

We write practical camping guides based on our own trips, including a beginner checklist and a walkthrough of planning a group camping trip. Each guide shows when it was last updated.

Early access

QAMP is in beta. We are adding parks, photos and planning features every month, and we read every message we get. If something is wrong or missing, please contact us.

QAMP is not affiliated with Ontario Parks. Campsite reservations are made directly through Ontario Parks.
