Sandbanks Provincial Park Campsite Photos & Guide

Prince Edward County · about 2.5–3 hours east of Toronto · 455 campsite photos

Sandbanks Provincial Park sits on the Lake Ontario shore in Prince Edward County and is famous for its long sand beaches and towering dunes. It is one of the most popular camping parks in Ontario, so sites book out early for summer weekends.

Because campsites vary a lot in shade, privacy and distance to the beach, seeing photos of each site before you reserve makes a real difference. QAMP has more Sandbanks campsite photos than any other park in our collection.

Tips for camping at Sandbanks

Reserve as early as the booking window allows for July and August weekends.
Compare site photos for shade: some loops are open and sunny, others sit under mature trees.
Bring a beach shelter, as the dunes offer little natural shade.
